Sunset near Newport Station, Melbourne.
The sun, pinched by the two clouds at its waist, appeared as a nuclear mushroom cloud. i didn't even have to photomanipulate it at all, it just turned out beautifully all on its own. Though, i do despise the limitation my camera had in the direct light; it didn't handle the midtones too well at all :<
Yeah it actually looks more impressive now than it did in person <.< it only slightly resembled a nuke at the time, but this photo really accentuates... the... nuke-ness.

Because it is so clear, it takes a longer time to realise it. If you immediately know the candlelight is fire, then the meal was cooked a long time ago.
He died for me, i'll live for him. My Friend, my Lord, my Jesus.
Well apart from the fact that i made it, it's from A Scanner Darkly. Look it up on Youtube it's from the trailer

GAH. i wanted to see that :/ have you seen Waking Life? Harbie (aka Mr Chehade) liked it back in '03, i think. Uhhh. It's done in the same style as A Scanner Darkly, with tons of vector-esque post-process done over the original film, buuut it's a lot less refined than ASD. And it's more of a philosophical film rather than a movie, very VERY thought-provoking.
In fact, you should watch this clip from Waking Life. It's actually more or less an edited excerpt from another movie called Before Sunrise, but it's excellent nonetheless. Makes you really REALLY think, a LOT. Trippy!
Most of the people who did A Scanner Darkly, worked on Waking Life. This is same style, come 'round i bought it from video store.

HEY i was wondering, where's your avatar from? It reminds me of one of the animated shorts from The Animatrix, but i don't think it's that...?
