Whew! I finally finished it that took a few too many hours..
I tried a lot of experimentation with colours, contrast, shininess (check out the shiny bits on her boots!) aaand colour layering and whatnot.. It took me forever and it isn't perfect, but I'm still learning how to colour so I'm not too fussed. Anyway I think I'm pretty happy with the results
Yeah I was about to do that.. I'm not sure if I should though, it might detract from the pic (and dirty her shiny boots! lol) but thanks for the suggestion; I'll try that out..
Yeah I agree, it needs a few very light blood spatters, not like super bloody b movie gore, just a few... otherwise it looks fake (as in a photo of someone holding a mannequins head and a knife) but it doesnt even have to be dark or bright red, someone who can use a sword like that could easily chop off someones head without too much mess. LOL good job though

Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.

Maybe put a little blood on the sword? And off the head? The red might help accent the picture.
